The staff gave us wrong PIN code and we can't enter to the premises to store our baggage. There is no lock inside the room which we feel unsafe. The price is reasonable and location is near to the JR station.

better off in a youth hostel

Room was not ready until 4pm. When I finally arrived back at the hotel I was instructed to leave my shoes at the entrance and don some slippers. I complied. There was barely enough space to bring my small carry-on lugggage into the room. There was a folded up "mattress" in the corner with some unmatched bedding near the water stained window covering. I had to move the small table to accommodate my tiny carry on. The bathroom had a step up and included 1 faucet for the sink and shower and some body wash. The fridge did not work and neither did 2 of the 4 outlets in the room. It was either tv or a working cell phone. "free wifi" does not work. I slept very poorly since I was feeling the floor beneath me. While it is pretty close to the main train station, everything else is quite far away.

ホテルスタッフとのメールでのやり取りが不満足なポイント。 レスポンスは遅いし、こちらがお願いした書類フォーマットに対してミスが多く改善されなかった。 例:日付記入のところに111月と記入されてる 電話でのお願いも合わせて行おうとしたが、全く通じない。 泊まる分には問題ないが問い合わせなど、スタッフとのやり取りが生じるとかなり面倒なことになる

ein kleines Zimmer im japanischen Stil. Sehr ruhig und gepflegt, alles da mit Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Tee etc. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ideal nah zum Bahnhof Kyoto Station.

離車站很近，算是在兩個站的中間點。在下午兩點後到晚上9點前check in會有櫃台人員，介紹飯店設施很詳細。但隔音真的要斟酌，畢竟是榻榻米房，代表隔間也不是很厚實到完全隔音。晚上十點後要輕聲細語免得吵到鄰間。退房後，行李還可以寄放，算是很優的服務了！另外走路出去五分鐘內可到便利商店和激安，很是方便。而且還可以租借腳踏車，旅行景點也可以直接詢問櫃台人員，雖是英語溝通但很是親切熱情！

We would have liked to have a stool in the room. We liked that it was close to Kyoto Station. There are a lot of food options around the hotel and at the station.

Très bonne organisation pour cet hôtel charmant

Accueil par un jeune homme qui maîtrisait parfaitement l'anglais et nous a très bien expliqué le fonctionnement de l'hôtel, par ailleurs détaillé dans un .pdf que j'ai reçu par avance (code de la porte, photos, plan d'accès etc.). Petite chambre mais nous étions à la recherche d'un hébergement type ryokan, tout en souhaitant une salle de bain privée, et cet hôtel cochait toutes les cases. Si vous mesurez +1m90, debout dans la baignoire, votre tête touche le plafond.

残念

駅からは近かったのは良かった。 壁が薄く、他の部屋の声が聞こえてくるのが不快。 2日に1度しか掃除してくれない。 1人だったので4畳ほどの和室で、畳の上に布団が置いてあり、その分スペースが取られて狭かった。 カーテンではなく障子なので、朝の日の出から眩しくて目覚めてしまい、ゆっくり寝ていられない。 1日目で懲りて、アイマスクと耳栓を買ってきて寝ていたほど。 ティッシュやトイレットペーパーのストックもなく、フロントまで言いに行かなくてはならない。 フロントもスタッフの方はチェックインの時間から夜までしかいない。 もう泊まらない。

Fantastic location and living in traditional style

The best thing about Hotel Seiki is its fantastic location. We could easily get around Kyoto due to proximity to all types of transport. There is a nice mall on the short walk to the hotel called Avanti, and we spent great deal of time shopping and dining there. With respect to the room, it was kind of what I expected, although much smaller. I could barely fit into the bathroom. We were unable to wear footwear and pack our suitcases over the tatami mats, which gave a very very limited space for doing that. Not the best choice if you are looking for decent space. Nevertheless, the experience of living in traditional Japanese style was what we will cherish the most.

The property was nice and clean. It is close to kyoto station making it easy to venture out. It does need more power points as the was only 4 spots right next each other 3 of with were being used. while this may not be a big deal for everyone it was for us as we had 2 phones,power banks, laptops and cameras that all need to be changed at night. even if you unplugged some of the other items as they were both close together it made it hard for international travel adaptors to all fit at once.

Warm welcome and very good stay in central Kyoto

Excellent stay, lovely traditional style Japanese room, good size. Comfortable bed, clean and good facilities, has just been renovated so in good condition. Bathroom a bit small but manageable (and not unusual for Japan). Outstanding welcome on arrival and very friendly staff who will answer any queries you may have. Extremely close to Kyoto station (short walk) so very convienient. Would highly recommend and stay again in future

대부분 만족합니다

위치도 교토역에서 십분정도 거리라 좋았습니다 대부분 만족합니다 다만 벽이 너무 얇아 옆방 소리가 너무 잘들린다는 점과 화장실이 있지만 너무좁았습니다 여자인 저도 좁다고 느껴 몸이크신 남성분들은 씻다가 화나실수도 있겠네요 ㅎㅎㅎ

The location is the absolute best. I was traveling solo, so it was a perfect size for me. Yes, it is tiny. But manageable. Absolutely loved tatami sheets and futons. Washroom is a bit of an issue as it really is very small. Room was very clean. Sheets and towels are changed daily. Also, they give a hand device which you may use during your stay to make free calls, use internet. This was really helpful! Staff ks friendly and speak english well. Overall great. Would consider staying there again.

和室でのんびりできてよかったです。2人で過ごすにはちょうど良いサイズでした。エアコンも快適で、すごく暑い夏でしたが、気持よく過ごせました。掃除やアメニティも十分で、スタッフも感じがよく親切でした。交通の便もよく、買い物も便利でした。ゆっくりしたい時は近くの銭湯に行き、そこのお客さんに東寺の盆踊りを教えてもらって参加してきたのも楽しかったです。また利用したいと思います。
