This property was in the heart of it all but tucked away on a quiet side street. It has everything you could need in a stay. As if you were living in your very well appointed own apartment in the city. We especially loved the Japanese mattresses which were very comfortable for our kids and came with very nice bedding that made for restful sleep.

We love our stay at this place, Almost perfect The room was clean and as expected a bit small but LARGE for Japan . The only thing that I would change is Chairs and table to stay in the room are extra from my POV I would have remove a chair and a table and just leave the night stand and a chair to have a bit more of room for luggage But Everything was just perfect

Amazing Machiya stay

Great room in a traditional Machiya. Check in process was quick with friendly staff, and located a very short walk away from Kyoto station, with the offer of luggage delivery to the Machiya. The Machiya itself is situated a short walk from a couple of train stations in a quiet area, and is a excellent building, with nice design and the room itself was spacious, clean and all the facilities required. Only drawback was that we didn't stay longer!

The Machyia was great! Suited our needs for the trip perfectly. Our only thing was the bedroom got very warm at night, it definitely needs a fan in there since the AC doesn't quite blow in there

Great hotel

Brilliant stay. We were able to drop our bags off at the main office, so we could explore Kyoto with ease. Check in process was easy. The hotel itself is newly furnished and clean. The largest bathroom we have had in Japan. Comfy beds. Location is about 30 mins to Kyoto station. 15-20 mins to the main bars. A quiet residential area.

It’s not too far from train stations (within 15 min walk), while it’s close enough with the local residents. We lived in a 3-people room. An excellent choice for 3 people who perfer a large living and private space. Different types of bedding are available for those with different preference. The washing machine has drying function which is great for a long stay.

口コミが少なく不安だったので、投稿します。 坪庭のあるお部屋に宿泊しました。とても素敵で清掃も行き届いており快適でした！ ただ宿泊施設にはスタッフはおらず、京都駅近くにあるチェックインカウンターにまず寄らなくてはいけないとのこと。 私は知らずに宿泊施設に直行してしまい、電話でスタッフの方が丁寧に対応してくださったのでよかったですが、そこだけ要チェックです。 機会があればまた泊まりたいです！
