Staff was extremely nice, amenities were self serve so no unnecessary/wasted ones in our room, spacious room, bed extremely comfortable, decent breakfast buffet. Only minus was the cleanliness was lower than at other japanese hotels. The room's side tables were not well wiped down and were a little sticky along the sides. We also found a cockroach in our room our first day. Yes we had open snacks in the room, but we were on the 6th floor so it didn't come in off the street...

Convenient and great location to ideal spots. Staff is extremely kind and accommodating. Room is slightly small but has all needed amenities. Did have to request for new sheets due to a stain but that is an easy fix. Would recommend!

The windows overlooked an outdoor stairwell and I had to have a manager open a window a crack for me as they are locked. They force you to have the room cleaned even if it’s not convenient. It’s a basic hotel and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Great little hotel, close to Nishiki market

This hotel is well located, about 10 minutes away from Nishiki market and close to the main shopping strip and transport (bus and train). Check in is via a machine. Has coin laundry (300 yen, includes detergent) and dryer was 100 yen for 30 minutes. Breakfast was great. Simple, wide range of options and delicious. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel location is incredibly convenient. I have stayed here on three different occasions over the years. My first stay was in 2017, when it seemed to be a freshly constructed or newly remodeled facility. There has been some wear and tear since, but it is still in a really good shape. The room size and bathroom size is generous, the service is also wonderful, considering it is a three star hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel

Arrived at hotel via Hankyu train from Osaka was super easy, one of the stops is by the hotel. Lobby was homely feeling, staff helped us with check in. The room and bathroom was spacious, bright and super clean. We had breakfast which was a nice start to the day, felt like a home cooked meal with a changing menu. It's very much Japanese style so don't expect much western options. Location is quieter, but it's a short stroll to one end of the Nishiki market.

Wonderful staff, great breakfast, location convenient and close to Karasuma Station, providing easy access to the Hankyu line as well as the JR line (via subway); close to Daimaru, Takashimaya, and many other shopping locations. An European lady was holding the hands of an elderly kitchen worker, thanking her for all the services she had provided during the lady's family stay. Quite touching. The staff service was impeccable.

Property was clean and safe and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was excellent! What I didn’t like: Room was small and minimalist. Door frame on bathroom was raised. Hurt feet. Pillows were small, only one each. No electrical outlets in bathroom. No way to plug in 3 pronged power cord for laptop.
