"True, there IS a beach connected to the property, however, there is a sea wall, so no "regular" access to the ocean. Although the water at sea wall was deep enough for a boat, you technically "could" get in the water from the boat dock. Our room "door" was a patio slider ...with curtains... As we were on the ground floor, people walking by could see our entire room. When the curtains were closed for privacy, the room was dark... convenient early morning but not so during the day. So when...

"Staff were friendly, the pics online make it look nicer than it is. The swim up bar doesn’t exist, just seats in the pool. They have a shuttle but you still have to pay to get a ride."

The spa was a great, relaxing experience as well. The room, pool it was all nice. There isnt dining but there is a cafe arpund the corner. And its in a residential area. I felt safe walking to nearby restaurants as well. I was celebrating a birthday, thank you Palms for a great stay. "

"Belizean Shores is the perfect place to stay if you want to be out of the chaos of downtown San Pedro. Even though you are outside of town, there are lots of restaurants near by and it's only a 15 min golf cart ride to town. Secret beach is quick and easy to get to as well from there. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. They did their best to clean up the sargassum everyday, I found it to be much cleaner than other resorts I walked by. You can swim off the end of the dock as well...
