"Very clean, comfortable bed. Loved the amenities in the room and around the resort. Just amazing place to stay. Stunning views. And the bistro was fantastic. Loved having the bikes, paddleboards and kayaks available to use. "

"The manager was kind and responsive when we checked in and the welcome towel and drink was a delightful surprise. We had a treehouse room that was beautiful and the natural decorations on the beds were amazing. There were many cute Instagram worthy places to sit and take pictures. The food was fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. "

"What a cozy and well-located room in Placencia. Our cabana was right on the beach. The busy and fun bar next door had music playing till midnight, but for us, that was great -- just made it more like beach living. The rooms are in great condition and the staff is wonderful. Santiago keeps the beach and room area in perfect shape and is very attentive. We felt at home, and we could walk the Placencia sidewalk for coffee, breakfast, and night life at all times. "We had a wonderful stay at the Elysian Hotel in Placencia and can’t say enough about how warm and welcoming the staff were. Traveling with young kids can be challenging, but the team here went out of their way to make everything easy and comfortable for our family. From thoughtful help day-to-day to genuine kindness toward our children, it truly made a difference in our trip.

"Beautiful, quiet setting. The drive into town is deceiving when you look at the miles. It takes 25 mins. The staff was lovely, the food was good, the grounds were amazing. We road the bikes, used the kayak and paddle boards. We especially loved the dock for viewing sea creatures. "
