"The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was great. The property's jungle setting and landscaping made me feel like I was in a jungle. And while not a nightly occurrence, having howler monkeys howling the first evening really set the tone to remind me I wasn't in California. A special callout to the staff at Fiona's restaurant, the food was great, but talking with the staff there was super fun. I would recommend Maya Mountain Lodge to anyone and everyone."

"I had the pleasure of staying at the Mystic River Resort in Early June and the whole experience has made me fall in love with Belize. The property is immaculately maintained and incredibly clean, my room was upgraded free of charge which included a plunge pool on the balcony which definitely added to the experience !. "I have been coming back to Cahal Pech resort for every year and seen this place worn down by time… Very sad. Bernadette in the front desk is very helpful. All staff are friendly. The view keeps me staying, but other amenities are very old and everything is overpriced. Lots of bugs in my room."

"This was a neat place to stay. I wish I would’ve had more time to play golf. Our room was ok. There were a ton of ants and gecko’s in our room which is to be expected building anything in a warm climate. The only complaint, which was not the fault of the resort was the power went out and our room became absolutely stifling. "The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants.
