"This place is great! Staff was amazing, room was clean and spacious. The bistro on site serves amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate there for every meal during our stay and never had a bad meal. The only downside was the sargassum. We were there in April for spring break and it was bad. The beach was unusable, which was a shame. The pool was nice and since it's a small resort, it never felt crowded. We would definitely come back!"

"Beds/ pillows comfortable. No fridge in room. Parking in front of room. Constructing a pool. Food in restaurant was good. Everything is new condition. Gates are closed at night for added security with a guard. Would stay here again. No problems. "

"This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! "

"Property is beautiful, staff are great, amenities are good. Additional restaurants etc. are a short walk or golf cart ride away in the village of Hopkins. The areas that could improve slightly are the number of sun beds by the main pool by Charlie's bar. There were 9 beds which were regularly taken but room for several more. "Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay."

"It is an older hotel, so that was a bit of a shocker for us at first. But the location was great and after the receptionist changed our rooms we were quite happy, we got a bigger room with a smaller shower, (not to small) and shady outside sitting area, we were quite happy. The room and bathroom were clean, and because we only stayed 2 days we did not need the room-service. They did bring beach towels and emptied garbage. The breakfast was good and plenty, People lovely, and a superb location. "
