"The location was good; the facilities were adequate but pretty old and there was a strange smell in the room. Besides, there was water dripping from the cooker hood all the time, which was annoying; we told the female Japanese receptionist about this when we checked out, she told me the water would keep coming down when we turned the cooker hood off. Seriously? It is just ridiculous to ask the hotel guests to listen to the noises from a working cooker hood. And this Japanese receptionist wasn't...

"Very pleasant stay. The room is big and clean, and we are on 5th floor which is just able to have sea view. The scenery is so good and enjoyable. The location of this hotel is also a plus as it is near the tourist area while it still keeps the tranquility."

"Cozy, clean & spacious room with a mini onsen. Pre-check in is advisable. 5 minute walk to Kirin Lake where beautiful scenery & cafes around. 10 minute walk to Yufuin Floral Village & shopping streets. "

"Check In was easy and it was close to the train station , we walked back from dotonbori just about a 20 minute walk the way back did seem a little grimmy though but apart from that highly recommend it love the fact it had a fridge and a small kitchen throwing away the trash was a little tricky but we figured it out and with the heat our clothes got easily dried , many Konbinis near and easily accessible hitachi tower was with in 3-4 blocks will definetly choose this place next time I'm in Osaka"

"My group stayed at Villa H. Clean room and has the basic amenities. The location was convenient to other areas. We used a rental car, but there is also a bus stop right outside. Villa H was placed above another loft, so getting our larger luggage was a bit difficult, but we were aware of the room placement so no issues at all. Overall we really enjoyed the Villa and location. Thank you!"

"The woman who managed the property was extremely helpful and friendly. I was checking in the same day that typhoon “dolphin” was passing over Okinawa, and she was still working and even got my room ready early for me so I was not left out in the storm. The room was spacious, and located a short walk to all of the main attractions in Chatan."

Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport - Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3
10/10 Excellent
"I have a severe shellfish allergy, really appreciated the signage in buffets to allow me to feel safe eating during my stay. Very comfortable rooms, we had a great view over the bay. It was a great place to stay our last night or two so ease of departure was astounding. Our last night we went to the food court upstairs and surprised to be able to watch the sunset behind Mount Fuji, perfect ending to an amazing trip (go up the stairs/escalator, take a left and go down the food court corridor all the way to the end towards bathrooms and look left out glass windows). Don’t miss out on the skydeck at the airport as well in the evenings (fyi, cant see mt fuji sunset from there though)"
"Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were large and clean. Paying extra a day for the breakfast was worth it. The free toiletry amenities in the lobby were a nice touch. Something that stood out was the lobby was comfortable and well kept and always smelled really nice right when you walked into the lobby.
We are from the US and as awkward and uncomfortable it may sound the bathing house (onsen)actually ended up being a nice surprise. No bathing suits can be worn, but it was a really nice large hot tub area that was separated by men and women. convenient it was right next to a train station.
Definitely would recommend and would stay again."
"I really enjoyed staying at Shinjuku Washington Hotel with my family for 4 nights in August of 2026. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the quality of food was great. It’s also so convenient to Shinjuku Station and all the restaurants, bars and shops surrounding the area. A must stay if you’re in Shinjuku City. The only issue I have was that the bathroom is so small and not ideal for those 6’3 and above. Stay here, I highly recommend Shinjuku Washington Hotel in Tokyo."
"The location was perfect. The front desk staff went out their way to help us booked a shuttle bus to disneysea. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of fresh options. Will definitely book again on our next trip."
"We struggled to find the entrance to the hotel as there are no instructions that the check in is in the 9th floor. Staff were helpful and for a fee allowed is to check in early. Rooms were clean and neat. To get into the hotel we needed to take 2 separate elevators as the hotel is in a different building to the street entrance. Hotel is attached to a large shopping and eating precinct which we enjoyed. Bathroom has a separate shower and bath, shower is separate to the bath, and clothing and towels need to be left outside or will get wet.
Laundry had 8 washer/dryers for the whole hotel. Sometimes wait was hours before machines were ready. We also found dryers very slow. Often taking several hours to dry clothes. There is no coin/note exchange near the laundry and the cashless system didn’t accept any of our credit cards or suits which meant going to the front desk of coins were needed. Lifts were very very slow. The hotel looks lovely and clean but it wasn’t one of our favourites."
