It is not a large hotel and it is not easy to get to. But the right circumstances make this a perfect experience. "

"Hotel is good. We did not choose mountaim view but the room is still good. Services is great. They picked us up by van once we reached the bus terminal, it's really convenient. Hotel staffs are very nice. They always smile. Foods are delicious. We were impressed by break fast and dinner they prepared specially. Food decoration is very nice and creative. Hot spring is nice. We can book in advance which is gorgeous. "

"Staffs were nice. They can speak English. However, if you seek a comfy room. This is not a place. Location: It is quite far from Kyoto town , only if you plan to visit Arashiyama. It’s ok to stay. For JR pass holder, you are entitle to ride JR bus, which enroute the ryokan. It will take 1 hour from Kyoto station to the ryokan. Be aware!! Room: not clean. I had small insect flew into my room. Facilities: Internet is very slow! Also, the toilet does not have a hot seat. Staff: one...

"Decent traditional ryokan, which is fully equipped and it's the reason why it's pricey. Staffs were nice and always offer to help, though every requirement I asked would be charged and billed. Onsen is relatively small, but adequate. If you don't wanna add up dinner, there is a good restaurant near by the ryokan. "

"It was a great experience of staying at Yuzanso Hotel. This hotel is friendly for muslim visitor as their has a halal food for muslim. Hotel decoration is nice and cozy. Futon bed is very comfortable and makes more japanese feeling. In room private onzen is super awesome experience. Food is tasty. The room can see biwa lake which is very beautiful."
