"We really enjoyed our 4 nights at Mill Spa. The location was brilliant for walking into Chester centre. The rooms were adequate albeit cosy. "It’s always tricky looking for family rooms for older children, it was fantastic to have a separate room for the two kids. The rooms are stylish and spotlessly clean.10 minute stroll into Chester centre along the canal. The hotel has a lovely friendly vibe with a great lobby/bar area with games and another upstairs with a pool table and a few arcade games. The staff were super friendly and inviting. "We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "

"Stayed on the outskirts of Chester parked the car and used the park and ride service which is very close to the hotel. The service is excellent and saves using the car as Chester is busy. There is an Asda shop 2 minutes away at the garage for papers etc if needed. We found the hotel easy to get to and was great to return home due to location. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was fine. Enjoyable break. "
