Boutique style hotel, with clean & relatively spacious ( by Japanese standards) rooms. Staff were courteous. Nice touch with an array of guest amenities eg hairbrushes, tea bags, face creams etc & eatery…Great location too , across the road from the Kyoto national garden & walking distance to bus lines that will take you to a number of local temples & shrines..

This is our third time staying here at Rakuro Kyoto, and it’s always so pleasant. They always accommodate my family with children. The staff and amenities are great. Definitely recommend to first time travelers.

Absolutely incredible stay. The room was beautiful, the staff was kind and accommodating, the facilities were unreal, and two major sightseeing destinations and a train stop were within walking distance. Highly recommend; we splurged for our honeymoon but are now unlikely to stay anywhere else.
