Perfect location. 10-15 minute walk to Gion and right beside Nishiki Market. Very clean and tidy. Pocket seems a very apt description for the small room but that's all you need when you're out exploring Kyoto all day!

Very convenient to shops, food and places to visit. It's more like a hostel. The room was small but good for just sleeping. SeeThe train station exit was very close to it, but the exit is actually quite far to the platform.

My second stay here. Great location, good value for money and the hotel is clean. The room is super small (basically just the bed and have many strange rules and fees (new towels you can order only until 10AM,showers are closed after noon, penalty for every 30 mins of late check-out…). But overall good and I would stay again.

The hotel is close to the Nishiki market and with it many food options. The hotel staff were friendly and there was a wall of tourist information (where to go, how to get there and some context for the destination). The keycard could be put in a lanyard provided for safe keeping and loungewear/towels were provided daily. The showers were clean and come with body wash and shampoo only.
