Hotel was very nice, beautiful environment, very calming and relaxing. Staff was very helpful and the room was always very clean. Breakfast was great but it was the same everyday. Shuttle service was very convenient.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were excellent and the hotel shuttle was especially beneficial. The only recommendation I would offer is to have coffee mugs and ice and water dispensers in the rooms or at least on each floor.

We particularly like the hotel shuttle which was accessible every hour. The staff were always courteous and pleasant. The breakfast buffet could maybe expand on their choices for the omelettes. But overall we were very happy with the amenities and the cleanliness of the property. Thank you.

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of the Higashiyama area. The room was spotless and so quiet and we all slept peacefully. A lovely bathroom too. The staff were faultless and so helpful. Would thoroughly recommend and certainly stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hotel Higashiyama Kyoto Tokyu! The room was very nice and comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Kyoto, and we also really enjoyed the restaurant and bar, which were both excellent. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We loved our stay at The Hotel Higashiyama. It is a quiet escape from the crowds at Gion, but only a 15-20 minute walk from the area. The hotel staff are so sweet and helpful with calling a taxi or arranging luggage forwarding. Breakfast was excellent. 10/10 would stay again.

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of the Higashiyama area. The room was so comfortable and quiet with a luxurious bathroom. A complete haven to pop back to after a busy day sightseeing in the kyoto summer heat. The staff were faultless and so helpful every time we asked for assistance. A very convenient shuttle bus to and from the station too. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again if back in Kyoto.
