Room had an amazing view of the mountains, and was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful, and amenities were great with public baths, a free drink in the evening, and free coffee and tea throughout the day. The lobby was well maintained and had a great vibe. Super accessible using train line right outside the door which connects to major stations. Absolutely loved it 10/10
The location was convenient for local transportation access, less busy than near the Kyoto station. The lobby amenities were awesome. After a long day of sightseeing, it felt refreshing to have an iced tea or fresh brewed coffee or a free drink and relax in the massage chairs. Their library is also very good if you have some time to unwind. Only downside was room cleaning frequency is low however fresh towels and supplies were no problem. Our room had a bath tub which had surprisingly high walls. I wanted to mention this because if you have special requirements you may want to contact the hotel in advance.
Spacious room with sofa. Both the bedroom and outside areas were clean and well kept. Daily welcome drinks (alcoholic or non alcoholic) available and also coffee and a good selection of teas. Close walk to Kyoto station and near bus stops to Kyoto city centre.
The service is great and the small extras e.g. complimentary drinks and baths. The only minor comments is that there is no real storage e.g. to unpack if you are staying for long enough. That said, we would recommend and also agree we would stay again.
Room was great with a large bathroom; much bigger overall space compared to the chain hotels in Japan. Staff were wonderful. In-room massage was incredible—definitely recommend.
Very nice hotel that is conviently located near Kyoto station not uber close but walkable, good bus service. Would stay again

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Clean okay-size room, nice personnel and lobby
On our first day, breakfast was sold out before 9AM, which was strange. We pre-booked breakfast for the next day and it was okay, just not a lot of choices.
Overall great value for the money. Great location close to a subway station and a 19 minute walk from the train station. Lobby is fantastic like a bistro/bar. Every night music, welcome cocktails, massage machines are very welcomed.
large rooms, comfortable bed and clean facilities. Amenities are very good! Free, decent coffee/tea around the clock in the lobby. Staff are helpful and accomodating. Close to multiple train route and food options. We stayed 3 nights and had a lovely stay.
