If you’re staying in Kyoto and planning on doing a lot of day trips I would really recommend this hotel. It’s right next to the train station. They also have luggage forwarding and the staff was very helpful.

The location is great! The staff were lovely, the only downside is there was lot of hair in my room, in the floor, bath and soap. The hotel did clean this up after I made them aware. For such a big hotel this was a let down. Other than this very convenient location and friendly staff!
