I’d describe Kokonoe Machiya as a truly wonderful place to stay in Kyoto. What made the experience especially unique was the beautiful blend of Italian and Japanese hospitality, which gave the stay a personal and memorable touch. The location is another major strength. The property is set in a quiet, local neighborhood, allowing guests to experience a more authentic side of Kyoto while staying far from the tourist crowds. It is the perfect choice for anyone looking for peace, character, and a more intimate connection with the city. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kokonoe Machiya to anyone visiting Kyoto.
