The way the room has been built despite not being big, very practical and comfortable. Location also very central and close to nice areas with cafes and restaurants.

My wife and I stayed at Insomnia for our honeymoon! The staff were so lovely to deal with. They were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The hotel was as absolutely fantastic, it had a great atmosphere and vibe and the hotel room was so spacious and comfortable. Thank you so much Insomnia for maki g our stay so memorable! We will definitely be staying here next we are in Kyoto. 🇦🇺🇯🇵

Lovely hotel

Small but clean and very comfortable room with good bed and good bathroom! Good location near metro. Free drinks and pastries. Friendly staff. Wifi OK but not the best.

Only negative was the room was too small, however, the shower was amazing! Separate toilet worked out well and the bidet was the best of our trip. Staff was very helpful and friendly. 7-11 around the corner. A few restaurants close by as well. Subway was very close by. A Room and facilities were clean. Beverages and baked good came in handy, although they were the same everyday. If the rooms weren’t so small, we’d stay there again.

Very clean and modern with a vibe throughout. Great lobby area, original with comfy sofas, seats for board games, record player, fresh bread all day and drinks too. Great selection of board games to sit and play too. Very helpful staff and great amenities. The room was beautiful, clean and modern, cosy and luxurious. Amazing shower. Such a cool vibe and aesthetics. Love love the coffee machine that makes the perfect latte and pastries throughout the day. Love the orange juice and the communal area. Great design of the rooms as well, as well as the best shower/tub combo. Such good value for all that you get.

Excellent super modern hotel with reasonable size rooms within 5 minutes walking distance of metro. Good base for Kyoto with regular buses to Gion. Reception staff are super helpful. Drinks and pastries free all day !

I loved this small hotel! It was clean and conveniently located. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pastries and drinks were certainly appreciated after getting back to the hotel from a long day of exploring. The room was small but had enough room to lay out our 2 carry-on suitcases. The bath area was fabulous. Highly recommended!!!

It was a wonderful and comfortable stay in Kyoto (close to the subway). We walked home from the center (Nishi Market) and there are great roasters with delicious coffee around. I would definitely book this accommodation again :)

This hotel is GREAT. It was by far the best hotel of our entire Japan trip, and we stayed at other very good hotels. The room is spacious, clean, and has a fantastic shower. All amenities you could need are available. The lobby area was so nice to hang out in during times that we needed to rest our feet from the 30,000 step days.
