I had a wonderful time at Kanra. The hotel was very comfortable and tasteful. If I come to Kyoto again. I have no doubt to stay there. We spent four nights and really enjoyed our stay. Location is good too, 1 min walk from Gojo station. What I loved the most was the breakfast buffet. It was amazing.

The room is fantastic. I loved the design, and the bathroom is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and very diverse, with both Japanese and international options. We had dinner at the hotel one night, and it was excellent. The staff is very warm, friendly, and helpful. A great experience that truly elevated our stay in Kyoto. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed stay at this hotel. The reception ladies are very friendly and we had some welcome tea and snack which are super delicious. Room is clean, warm and functional. This is my favorite hotel in the world! It's such a beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of Kyoto, and an easy walk to Kyoto Station and Nishiki Market. It's right down the block from a subway station as well. The rooms are like little Japanese apartments and have such beautiful decorative touches. The spa is great, as is the high end teppanyaki restaurant.
