Beautiful hotel, clean friendly staff helped us several times on where to catch a taxi, etc. The free breakfast was amazing with delicious Japanese foods, breads, and eggs. Local bacon, very connivence to large shopping area including the seafood area. Exciting to be at this hotel.

Very nice comfortable room I was solo travelling but had a twin room was able size and a table and chair. Lovely bathroom,bath and wet shower floor. Only minor thing if 2 people there is no storage just hangers against a wall and no drawers so have to live from a suitcase really

This hotel was mainly for the location, and the location is awesome for shopping. The room and hotel itself were okay. The rooms are a little outdated, and the beds had a few minor stains on the blankets, nothing that was terrible (all of our group had some kind of stain on the blankets in every room) but definitely made an impact on our visit to the hotel. The premium lounge is awesome, but located directly next to a smoking area, and was often just filled with smoke, which made it so we never went. Again the location is 100% worth it, and if you just want to use it as we did as a place to sleep while shopping in Kyoto, then its awesome.
