A lovely hotel. In a great location. Could walk 10 mins to the main kyoto station one way, or to the market the other way. If you don't like walking there was a station 2 mins away. We were a family of 5 and the room was spacious with a great bathroom. Free coffee machine in room and all the usual amenities. Very clean. The only downside was the shared laundry facilities. There were 4 washing machines. When I went 3 out of the four machine's had finished. I waited over an hour for someone to come get there clothes. Not the hotels fault. Just rude of the people hogging the machine's when there's only 4 of them for the whole hotel. Also clothes had a funny smell after using the machine. Other than the laundry. We loved the hotel and kyoto. Check in and check out was very easy. Would happily stay here again.

Nice clean hotel. Rooms are on the smaller side for the price (got a bigger room in Tokyo for cheaper). Self check in seems to be the preferred option here but staff are nearby or a phone call away if you need personal assistance. Very close to train station. Good food options nearby. Buffet breakfast is fairly average. They have a self service vacuum pack machine near reception for vacuum packing soft toys or clothes, which was super useful as we were running out of space in our suitcases!

Lovely property. Close to the subway. Clean. Rooms were very nice. Hot water. Secure area to leave your luggage if you need to drop it off prior to check in time. My only disappointment was this location didn't have the dinosaurs. Still a 10/10 stay

Great 3-night stay at Kyoto. Check-in was very smooth and the property was very clean and I liked the traditional tadami style. Location was very close to subway/bus and was easy to get to the major locations. Definitely recommend for visiting Kyoto.
