Perfect location for sights and close to a subway station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great firm beds and pretty quiet rooms (ours was towards back alley). Room was maybe a bit run down already, so that’s why one star out of clenliness, but definitely not anything super dirty. Breakfast was great opportunity to try out local food. Great value for the money!

Comfortable clean and convenient!

Comfortable rooms and bed. Temperature control was a bit iffy and found it hot, but you could open the windows to let fresh air in which was nice. Decent breakfast and 30 min interval shuttles to airport which was good!

The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a great selection of food for breakfast. The hotel is beside the Keihan Main Line, making it very accessible.

Definitely worth for such a good price

Extremely nice staff and big enough room for our luggage. Good location for the "historic quarters" and there's also a subway stop right next to the hotel. Breakfast was also very nice.

This hotel was a great value for the room and breakfast buffet provided. I was concerned I might regret choosing it, over the Doubletree next door, but ended up being happy with the decision. Nice way to experience a variety of Japanese foods for breakfast, also. Not in a happening part of Kyoto, but convenient to the stations that take you there.
