Solid hotel, great location near the Kyoto Station, and very accommodating and friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling that wants to be central and somewhere safe and clean. We will stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!

This hotel is very clean and the location was excellent: 3 minute walk to Kyoto station, and it was helpful to be close to Tokyo Tower for orientation from the station. Important to know: Daiwa has 2 hotels near this station: taxi took me to the one with “Terrace” in it’s name by mistake but I refused to get out since we were not near Tokyo tower (on other side of station).

This hotel was very nice!! It was beautiful aesthetic. The breakfast buffet we added on was also very good. They had American and Japanese options. The rooms were nice with a large bed, which was nice because me and my partner are both tall. The hotel is only a 6 min walk to Kyoto station and 7 min walk from closest bus station. Also a shrine only 7 min walk away. Lots of shops and food options close. It was great!

I loved this property. At first I was hesitant because I read somewhere that this property may have tour groups staying there too, but it was pleasantly quiet here! I appreciated the facilities and the ease of access to everything (food options, shopping, access to underground if it’s raining). I would definitely stay here again. This hotel is great for all types of travelers.

The hotel is beautiful and so clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. We used the laundry which is easy and conveniently located. The hotel is on a main street with lots of restaurants and shops! Great experience!
