"Excellent resort that is perfect for families with younger children. Apartments are clean, comfortable and spacious. Well equipped kitchen if you want to prepare your own food or good onsite restaurants if you prefer not to. Other restaurants are within walking distance or a short taxi ride to old and new town. Breakfast was nice with enough choices for everyone. Several pools to choose from some with water slides for the kids. Minimarkets on site were large and well stocked and the staff...

"A bit cramped but for exploring Funchal the location is excellent- we booked a room with a double bed and got a room with two singles which spoilt our arrival but we got a double bed the next night after contacting Expedia. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it sufficed"
