"All meals were very good, food was replenished before it was needed so it was always fresh. There was always a good variety, and it seemed to have a good variety of vegan options (I am not vegan). Drinks were served in smallish glasses but they use quality alcohol. No waitstaff in at the pool or in the bar, but that may have been because of the time of year. "This was a perfect location for a stay in Madiera. Nice view, free parking, and all the amenities anyone could want in the room. So many thoughtful extras like wine, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, washing machine and drying rack, etc. I would definitely stay again. "

"What a lovely location although there are multiple suites and rooms, from the majority of vistas they are all nestled within the land and discrete. There were issues with the room but we were kindly offered alternatives. Breakfast was included and you couldn't eat enough. The grounds were impressively level given the graduated levels of Maderia's landscape."
