"This hotel is fantastic, but I would suggest having a rental car if you stay here. It's ideal for getting to a lot of places on the island but staying very convenient to Ponta Delgada and the many restaurants there in the evening. We went out on excursions every day, and many tour operators picked us up directly at the hotel. We were on the island for eight days, so it was wonderful to have a big enough space to fit my family of five. They brought breakfast every day with fresh fruit and local...

Staff is very attentive and if you have any issues they do their best to have it taken care of right away. Location is very convenient to everything g walking distance to town restaurants and drives are also pretty central to both ends of the island. Momo restauarant was outstanding. Spa facilities can be used even without a spa appointment. There are only 21 rooms and each one is a piece of heaven."

"The setting is incredible. The hotel, situated on a cliff, overlooks the ocean, so guest can see the ocean wherever they are. The gardens are beautiful and really well taken care of. The salt water pool is fantastic. Finally, the staff are friendly and extremely helpful."
