The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and a fantastic location, within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was outstanding, kind, helpful, and professional. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a large, spa-like bathroom that felt luxurious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Japan. "Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. The front desk was very kind and helped us with information and with luggage dispatch to our next destination. The bedroom was really good and spacious. Three minute walk from Kyoto station, so it was good to arrive and leave with Shinkansen and also to move around the city with train and subways. "
