Well located with an exceptionally attentive staff. what really sets this property apart is their incredible housekeeping staff who actually anticipate your needs by what you use in your room. Complimentary water and daily English language newspaper was also a nice touch. Another convenience was the underground Kyoto subway station connected to the hotel together with a shopping mall! Elegance and service at a reasonable price!

I did not try the breakfast and never ate in the hotel . The staff was amazing. They made all my dinner reservations and their recommendation were outstanding. The location is perfect for everything. The hotel was great. The first rose was so tiny I had to move .they got me a much nicer room and charged me 7000 yen more per night but worth it. The second room was great. I would stay again in a heartbeat. I was in 4 hotels on this trip and Okura was by far the best
