Great hostel! We had a private room so didn't feel like a hostel, other than the shared bathroom. Almost felt more like a pod hotel, with private rooms. Great showers and bathrooms, and cool kitchen and lounge area. The bunk beds were great with privacy curtains. Only "complaint" is there is no water dispenser to fill up your water for the day, or breakfast.

This is an extremely well-priced option for a stay in Kyoto, in an accessible but quiet part of the city that is still close enough to be convenient, but far away from the maddening crowds. Great hostel facilities, clean, spacious, comfortable, with all the necessities well looked after, and completely functional. The guests were all very respectable and there are no unnecessary frills. Would much rather stay here than any chain business hotel. One note is that I'm a sento/onsen addict, and although there aren't any on premises, there are a few nearby in the neighbourhood -- great way to get to know the vibe of the area!

以前の同じ施設を利用していたが、再オープン後はスタッフのクオリティとサービス，施設の活用範囲が下がっていた。 シャワールーム、クリーニングルーム，トイレ、共有スペース、いずれも設備のメンテナンスやどのように使うかの意識が低くなってしまったのが残念でした。
