The nicest hotel we stayed at during our six night trip. It had that old Kyoto charm. The geisha in the lobby was a nice touch in the afternoon. Conveniently located and helpful staff. Nice free amenities too.

This hotel was fantastic! I would stay here again. The location is within walking distance of so many shopping, eating and tourist areas. The hotel staff was helpful at many times and was professional and eager to assist. We also had lunch there and breakfast and were extremely pleased.

Breakfast was nice, they keep it consistent. The bed in the hotel was perfect to sleep in. They have a osen has well, it’s separated between men and women, but it keeps the Kyoto style!

Staff were very friendly and the room was cosy and had plenty of amenities. Hotel is in a good location, close to the main shopping districts and the park. Our only complaint would be that the TV was only Japanese live channels, not a smart TV, so the ability to log into Netflix or likewise would have been nice, otherwise there's nothing in English for tourists. Regardless, we would stay again.
