A great property in a good location with friendly staff and tattoo friendly (sticker covers provided) rooftop onsen. I also love that each room has its own air conditioning controlsā€¦. I canā€™t handle the Japanese hotels that have centrally controlled heating.

The room was very clean and more spacious than expected (stayed in the twin room). Itā€™s ideal for sightseeing since theyā€™re located close to JR Kyoto Station and they hold onto your belongings for you before check-in and after check-out! Onsen was not too crowded and is open all night until the following morning. Decent amenities (ie. moisturizer, cleanser, razor, hair band, shower cap). They also have nice freebies like ice cream at night and a probiotic drink in the morning. Amazing breakfast buffet with great traditional foods and some western options as well! :)

Clean room. perfect if you want a room to yourself while traveling with friends. Having a washing machine was a bonus! We were able to do a load before heading back to Tokyo. Close to the station so it was easy to get to and travel around the city.

The location was ideal as it was in close proximity to Kyoto station. The staff were all super friendly and extremely helpful. Loved the mineral baths which were a relaxing way to unwind at the end of the day. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.
