"The Pan Pacific is the absolute best place to stay before embarking on a cruise from this port. The hotel is perfectly situated on the dock, a short, maybe 5-minute walk, to the ship.
The hotel itself is grand and beautiful in the interior lobby with luxurious, plenty of lounge areas to relax, restaurants on site, a gym, and spectacular views of the harbor if you are fortunate enough to get a harbor view room, which we did. The staff is very helpful and speak several languages to assist guests. The rooms are a bit older, but well maintained and clean. There are robes, bottled water and a coffee machine with coffee and tea for your morning wake up. One of the best perks is the bell staff will pick up and deliver your luggage to the ship before embarkation and your luggage will be waiting outside your stateroom when you arrive onboard. This is a free service, although tips are appreciated.
