"We stayed twice at Casa Grande Inn, once before Tofino and once after, and it worked perfectly as a gateway stop on the trip. The location is excellent, right across from the water and very convenient for exploring the area. It was also surprisingly quiet. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming both stays. "The hotel should take the picture of the pool off their outside sign since the pool hasn’t been open to use in over a year or more. The hotel inside and out needs an overall freshening up."

"There is some false advertising about this property and overpriced for this reason. #1 - it states on the website that there is a family restaurant on site. THERE IS NOT! #2 - it states there is a FULL BREAKFAST Included. THERE IS NOT! What they consider a full breakfast is, scrambled eggs, sometimes bacon, sometimes sausage (yuk), pancakes, sugar packed cereal, sugar packed yogurt, bread, coffee, and fruit cocktail. "Professional staff, well kept property and plenty of parking. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. My only complaint is that the windows needed some privacy while letting light in. The windows were equipped with black out blinds which is great at night but during the day, I'd like to still have some light though but not be in full view of other guests at the hotel. Also the windows needs to have bug screens on them because fresh air is nice but not at the expense of insects coming in as well."

"It's an older building for the motel rooms, however there has been an upgrade at some point to modernize the bathroom and beds. Room was "clean" but the remaining carpet section in our room at least, had "dirty smudges" in the main traffic area, likely from work boots from past occupants, and it doesn't vacuum out. Thought the room might be noisy from highway traffic, but actually it wasn't an issue. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and had a good night's sleep."
