"My wife and I chose this place and couldn't have been happier with our selection. The staff (Julekha, Alena, Silvana) were all incredible and super friendly. They were all so genuinely happy and welcoming. These guys made the stay even better and will certainly come back and stay here at hotel Daniela on our next visit. The room was super spacious with a large and clean bathroom with heated tile floors. The ski lockers were great and the breakfast has been by far one of my favorites. "

"The hotel was beautiful! Pool and spa! We had a room overlooking the Matterhorn! The front desk and concierge weren’t credibly helpful! Just a 5 min easy walk to the Sunnega lift! So special for a romantic getaway or family trip! "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Zermatt. It took six minutes to walk to the hotel from the train station and the location is perfect. You are in the heart of the shopping/dining district in Zermatt. The staff went out of their way to provide excellent customer service and the room was very spacious with modern amenities. "I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Alex. Staff was more than friendly and accommodating, the facilities are immaculately clean and the room and property had everything I wanted in a hotel. The Ski room with heated boot and glove warmers in my private locker were a fantastic add that I wasn’t aware of. Sofi and the staff were very friendly. Everything is walkable from this location, including the train. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!"

This hotel should teach a master class on service and staff loyalty. Every employee is friendly and eager to serve. I can't recommend Hotel Matthiol enough. I wish they had locations in every city because I'd book them exclusively from here on."
