"Great location near Paddington Station; very helpful staff (maneuvered the rooms around to let us have a very early check-in, with no charge, after an overnight flight from the US); very clean room with good housekeeping. They didn't provide many towels but readily gave us extras when asked. Very good value."

"Rooms are very dated. No soap- had to ask and even then they didn’t provide. Booked double- ended with a twin. Second day, they put another bed in the room! 3 single beds. Had to call down to remove. Backs on to rail line! Had a course at the hotel. Won’t stay again."

"This is a recently refurbished property. Rooms are small but well appointed. There are two elevators. The lobby lounge has a cafe (not connected to the property), and breakfast vouchers can be redeemed at two locations nearby. One of them is a laundromat/diner, which is quirky and different, but the staff is very pleasant. If you didn’t pay for breakfast, no worry—there are plenty of small cafes in the area. The biggest hassle for someone who is used to traditional hotels is the digital check in, which requires passport scanning and photo through an app provided by Bob W. This made me uneasy as it seemed like I was giving my personal information and likeness to some inverted third party. Another downside is the lack of onsite services. I had to take the rubbish out myself, and there was no cleaning during our three-night stay."

"We did not have breakfast the hotel is under refurbishment. There was an issue with the gas main in the street which sadly affected the hotel and was outside of their control. The air con was good. The room was comfortable. Once the hotel had been refurbished it will be lovely! It met our needs on Marathon weekend and the staff were very good! "

"It was under renovation during my stay, so noisy during the day. My room had been recently redone and looked lovely. It was quite comfortable. The bathroom looked lovely too, but smelled strongly of sewer gas. There was no rim across the shower so the water backed up all across the bathroom floor. "
