At this point in our trip, we were used to the smaller room and we made it work with our 2 personal items (backpacks), 2 carry ons, and 2 check in luggages. There were 7-Eleven‘s nearby and some other stores however, we stayed in Kyoto overnight to experience the nightlife and go to the temples in the morning. The hotel was perfect.
