Room was clean and well appointed though the shower was a little tricky for us middle-aged westerners - sorry! Absolutely amazing view of the castle. I wished we had asked or been made aware of the hotel amenities upon check in because there were a few we should have taken advantage if. The bell captain was amazing! And the shuttle to the station a big plus. Will def keep this hotel in mind for future trips.

This hotel is centrally located as the bus is across the street as well as Nijo Castle. Mornings you could walk the perimeter. Nearby local type shops like a coffee shop to eat, noodle spot, konbini, and can walk to Nishiki Market. Along the way to Nishiki, there will be local restaurants to eat so you can dodge the touristy types if u want. Staff are extremely helpful. Luggage travel service was great. Used the laundry service to save time. It was well done as well as each day our room was serviced nicely. The slippers were really comfy. We had a triple bed room with good space compared to others. Enough outlets, refrigerator, coffee station, water pot, hair dryer. Room was a bit stuffy as I couldn’t get AC to cool the room down even with the humidifier/purifier on.

Ana Crown Plaza Hotel is located in a quite area and is not far from Kyoto main train station. We like this lovely hotel because the friendly and knowledgeable of Bell Captains- answered our questions and provided great recommendations of places to visit and the hotel is neat and provides great breakfast buffet. Moreover, the majestic Nijo Castle is just cross street of the hotel.

Best decision was to stay here it was great to relax in a comfortable environment so close to airport. Was a 5 min walk to airport which is all covered and if needed right by train as well

Very dated property. Charging for the pool was very rude. Extremely expensive breakfast and limited dining in bar. Generally good spot however and nice to have traditional rooms albeit smelt of mould slightly. Staff were lovely.

Nice Hotel

The customer service was amazing, staff was very friendly and the hotel is close to the train and bus routes. Loved being close to Nijo Castle and short bus ride to everywhere else. The hotel itself is very outdated. Decor seems very 80/90s but the rooms were spacious and lots of toiletry options.
