"I wanted to stay at a location that was close to the Kyoto train station. I was pleasantly surprised with how good their breakfast is during my stay. The breakfast buffet style has both Japanese style breakfast and some western breakfast. My room was so clean and the bed was excellent on my back. The inn has a laundry room and I was able to wash my clothes during my stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay here during their stay in Kyoto."

"Very clean room. Nicely appointed with modern style. Mattresses were much too soft for my liking and actually slid around the bed. Great water pressure for shower. Complimentary beverages were great. Laundry is available on site but because of the combo washer/dryer design, clothes just didn’t come out dry. Nice exercise room with high end equipment."

"The hotel was fantastic, clean and well organised as one would expect from any hotel in Japan. There was a free drink each evening and free coffee at breakfast. Our room had a balcony - hurrah! , which looked out onto a carpark - hurroo😭. The free drink made up for this! The bar is located next to an open air fire pit and they supply woollen throws for comfort. We sent our luggage ahead and it was received by the staff with no worries. Not sure how I’ve given one star less to be honest. Oh yes, they need to include instructions for the TV in other languages. Could not for the life of us figure out how to get English subtitles or find alternative programming. A small thing. Sorry!"
