"We stayed in Odawara for a night so we could drive around the Mt. Fuji/Hakone area the following day. The hotel is a short walk from the Odawara Station, located in a multi-purpose building that includes the hotel and a food court as well as shops and additional food options in an outdoor food court. "This is a hostel that we rented as a whole apartment. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were nice and the shower was lovely and hot with good water pressure. Location was two minutes from the sea and ten ish minutes from the centre of Odawara."

"Hakone Airu was an awesome place to stay and such a relaxing experience. The rooms are beautiful and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The private onsen on the balcony was honestly insane and easily the best part of the stay. It’s a really cool mix of traditional ryokan vibes with modern comfort. Just be warned it’s a steep climb up there from the station and it’s about 800m walk "

We loved that there were restaurants and the onsen and spa on site so we were able to relax without even leaving the property if we wanted.
