Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Very authentic experience, especially the dinner, the onsen and the rooms. The staff is very friendly.
I stayed with my partner and his elderly parents. We were so impressed with the quality of the service here. I especially loved being able to partake in the traditional aspects of the ryokan, wearing yukata, sleeping on futon. We loved the traditional Japanese meal package, the food was superb! Thank you so much for hosting us, we left with such fond memories!
We loved our stay at Ajisai! Wonderful and courteous staff. The property was beautiful and well kept. Rooms and onsens were clean and the meal service was excellent. Great for families with kids.
Family of four stayed a regular room with very comfortable floor mats. Everything from the staff to the cleanliness and attention to detail was amazing. We really enjoyed the onsen experience including the provided yakats. Easy walk from the train station or a very inexpensive cab. We opted for the half board and that was amazing 7 course Japanese mess worth every yen! We were sad to leave.
The Ajisai Onsen Ryokan was an amazing experience. The hotel is small, quaint, peaceful and the Onsen's are fantastic. There are not enough words to describe the staff. Nagi, Namu, Rubi... the Chef, the cleaners were TOP Notch. Stayed for 6 nights and we ordered the 7 course Kaiseki meal for 5 nights. Delicious can't even describe what we ate. We are already planning a trip back to the Ajisai. The one on one Customer Service relationship is a 10 star in
our book. Domo Arigato for soothing our souls,
The Ajisai onsen Ryokan exceeded our expectations. The onsen is great especially since it is private . The most unforgettable experience we had was the dinner. The presentation of kaiseki course was simple and yet very entertaining. The staff were so great of course.
Gorgeous property with lovely private onsens. Yummy breakfast but on the price side. Friendly staff. Lots of amenities.
Inconvenient location. It was difficult to even get a taxi to pick us up.
We had such a wonderful time that we didnât want to leave this place! Our room was lovely and the onsen were amazing. There were plenty of time slots available and the staff was so helpful and kind especially with my young children. They even brought my 3 year old some crackers to cheer her up when she was cranky at breakfast. There are toys available in the lobby. It really feels like they thought of everything! Iâm so happy we were able to have this first experience at a ryokan as a family.
It was a family vacation to Japan and this place was amazing, I can not think a single thing to add that would make it better. The breakfasts were fabulous.
Being far away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area truly elevates the experience. The room was clean & comfortable and the hot spring was perfect.
We stayed for one night enjoying the traditional 7 course Japanese dinner and traditional breakfast. If you are looking for a cultural experience for your family, this is the place.
