"Fairly good stay overall. The place was clean, the staff were helpful, and the food was good. The only issue was the wristbands. At check-in, no one told us they had to stay on at all times. Since the room key is separate, the bands felt unnecessary, so we removed them. We spent an entire day at the resort without them and had no issues. After returning from an excursion the next day, we were stopped and told we couldn’t access our room unless we paid a US$130 fee per band, which was mentioned in the waiver. After arguing that this should have been clearly explained verbally, the manager gradually reduced the fee to US$50. What made it more confusing was that he still allowed us into the room to get our credit cards, despite saying we couldn’t access the hotel without the bands."

"My son and I just returned from a 5 night stay and we really enjoyed the resort. It was very clean, the pool was cool, but not too cold, and the beach was very clean. Everyone there was very friendly and we received great service in every area. The food was ok, not fantastic but also not terrible. The buffet features very fresh fruit and fruit juices, which I loved, and lots of different options for all meals but there wasn't much variation. Seemed to be the same stuff every day. The steak house was very good, and so was the hibachi restaurant. I was disappointed in the beach restaurant, we ordered the molcajete guacamole and it was clear it was not fresh guac, definitely not made in the molcajete, tasted like Walmart brand. Overall, our room was great, the facility is great, food ok....I would go back and would eat in the restaurants more than the buffet."

"My stay at the hotel was excellent from beginning to end. The customer service was outstanding, and the staff was always professional, attentive, and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the room service exceeded my expectations. Overall, everything at the hotel was exceptional. The activities organized for guests were enjoyable, well planned, and conducted professionally, which made the experience even more memorable. I would definitely visit this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay. For me, everything was excellent."

"It was budget friendly. I didn’t like that if you don’t give tip then you will be treated differently. Nobody will ask for drinks and staff will ignore you. The other hotel was actually good. Staff was pleasant in restaurant. I don’t understand the concept of asking room key again and again in every restaurant. What’s the purpose of bracelets then? Food was ok. The Mexican restaurant was average. Overall we got better treatment outside the hotel. Other hotels have caffe included in price but here you have to pay. Housekeeping was good as well as room service. I would rather stay in different hotel then staying here next time due to staff ignorance for not giving tip."

Negatives room AC was very cold and not easily regulated, safe did not work until staff repaired it, shower sometimes was luke warm. Property has time share offerings and gifts to listen to a presentation/sales pitch that we declined."

"Great property!! Staff was excellent. We stayed in the Preferred club and out butlers Watzon and Hector were amazing. Beach area is a little small but it was still wonderful. Beach and pool staff was amazing. And the food was incredible!!"

"Worst all inclusive resort experience ever! first thing we noticed in our family suite was the room is dated with cracked furniture, countertops and floor tiles, first night couldn’t sleep coz there were workers doing work right underneath our balcony making loud noises until midnight. 2nd morning we noticed brown water coming out from the sink faucets and shower room when turning to hot water, we reported to the front desk about the noisiness and dirty water, they moved us to a different room with the same dirty water issue. The maintenance guy came trying to fix it and still not fixed. Supervisor came offering upgraded room without extra cost but I need to agree signing an agreement not to write a negative Google review, he led us to check out 2 luxurious rooms on 12th floor and the water was even more darker brown, the supervisor Miguel was in shock then promised to have it fixed and get back to us again. Did they fix it and reach out to me again? No! We ended up taking cold shower for the entire trip. Restaurants except buffet were only open for dinner, Samurai’s raw fish had my 2 family members got diarrhea and puked 3 times, steakhouse served burned octopus and chewy steak. Italian served yuckiest risotto. Daughters got a nasty open cut on left foot at the kids water park. Lacking activities throughout the day and very Limited seats and umbrella by the pools. Do not book this unsafe and boring resort."
