"Wyndham has purchased this hotel, but done absolutely NOTHING to improve the quality of the hotel. It is more run down than it ever was before when it was just the Chicago South Loop Hotel (not the Wyndham Chicago Mccormick Hotel). The people who work at the hotel are wonderful. They are professional, kind, helpful, and caring. The general infrastructure is just old and things need to be replaced or updated like carpeting, paint on walls, and fitness center equipment. "Mallory was great at check in. We did not know that we could call to turn up a/c...but just dial 0 and ask. Onky downside was traffic noise but they do provide earplugs! Very comfortable stay."

"Friendly hotel staff, super clean rooms, plenty of dining options in walking distance. Great spot to stay overnight if visiting LA for a concert or show. Hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us with our Uber Eats delivery. "

"Unexpectedly let us check in early, which was wonderful. Had only asked if we might park there early while enjoying a hop on, hop off tour around the city. Rooms have been updated, hotel was clean and convenient to walking to Chestnut street for restaurants. Only thing I would suggest is to request a room on backside of hotel. Rooms facing Lombard can be loud due to traffic. Would definitely stay here again!"
