"Very nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Comfy beds and pillows. Great shower. Delicious complimentary coffee and hot breakfast. Nice pool (there is no shaded area-just fyi). I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!"

"We had a lil trouble with the a/c the first night and it didn't get fix till the next day some came out to look at it . And they offered another room .. but other than that it was excellent very nice staff"

"Everything is kept very clean, rooms, common areas, pools, exercise room and so forth. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfasts are an added plus. The only downside we experienced was there is not enough shade around the pool area during midday. If we visit Palestine again in the future La Quinta will be first on our list for places to stay."

"Absolutely disgusting. Sheets were visibly dirty (hair and grime), sink was backed up with brown water, and floors were filthy. Obvious room had not been cleaned recently."

"I have allergies & asthma. I knew after 15 minutes on site that I couldn’t sleep there. There were candles burning in the foyer, multiple bowls of potpourri, and multiple cats coming and going from outdoors—upstairs and downstairs. I’m very allergic to cats. Had I known these things prior to booking, I never ever would have booked—much less for 2 nights. They did extinguish the candles, but my throat was already thickening. "This was the most breath taking experience. The lake view is absolutely beautiful and we even got to see several deer frolicking around the property and even on the drive up to the property. It was so peaceful and the amenities were very accommodating. The boathouse is beautiful to just sit and watch the lake even if you don't fish or use the kayaks. It's family and pet friendly too. There's swings and a fire pit and a grill and an outdoor eating area on the porch. I would recommend bringing...
