"We have stayed at this hotel a few times before, on the first night we were lucky and got a good parking space easily, it was more of a problem the second night but we did get one. Our room was fine with a nice view of the hills over the flat roof part at the front of the hotel. The room was a bit warm and there was a noisy fan in the bathroom that never went off. The bathroom sink was very slow draining. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, there was a good range of items on the buffet but...

"Very modern & clean. Also quiet. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen was convenient. Great location; walking distance to train station, Holyrood Castle & Edinburgh Castle. Easy bus ride to HMY Britannia. A few minor problems: no egg flipper in kitchen, no can opener, and no notice that heated towel racks out of order in whole building (had to ask at front desk after having tried unsuccessfully for some time to get it to work). I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
