"This is a beautiful property sitting in the forest. It was just outside of St. Andrews, avoiding the hustle and bustle. David the proprietor is the star of this place. We could have listened to his stories forever. We had the lovely apartment at the top of the castle with a sitting room, spacious bedroom, kitchen, and bath. Breakfast was supplied in the kitchen and had plenty of options. We drove about 7 miles into Anstruther for dinner. "
"If you love golf and/or amazing service, this is the place for you! I was there with a mad golfer who was in literal heaven, but u wasn't a golfer and still loved it! I don't know how their staff served people so quickly or looked after us so well but they did!!! Will 100% go back "
"The hotel had a lot of atmosphere, both inside and out. The restaurant and bar served substantial meals. At night, once the tour busses left, it was very quiet."

"Beautifully restored older building with crown molding and scrolled ceilings about twenty four feet high. Efficiency kitchen came in handy. Good security.

It was perfect for our 1 night stay with St Andrew’s just a few minutes down the road.
The room was clean and incredibly comfortable, only complaint is the beds were in front of the windows so we couldn’t open them. "
