"We had a lovely stay at Golden Jubilee Hotel. The was a problem with the reservation so checking in and out was a bit of a hassle as I got worried about my booking. The only issue we had was that our room was connected to another room with a door, and we could hear other people from next door. The lady was very loud early in the morning so we couldn’t sleep properly. Also the phone wasn’t working. Overall, had a nice stay. It’s a lovely hotel and newly renovated. "

"We were rather unfortunate in that a drunk older couple were through the wall to us, shouting obscenities' and making a lot of noise. George, the general manager could not have handled it any better. I would highly recommend. "

"Very welcoming staff, nice clean and spacious room, with beautiful sea view. Lots of choices for breakfast and a generous sausage for our dog. We would advise taking ear plugs because the village church, which is nearby, charms every 15 minutes through out the night!! Very quiet otherwise. "

"We booked this hotel at the last minute rather than going into Glasgow. It's unique. Hard to describe really. Our apartment not only had a kitchen and three bathrooms, but also a fully functioning sauna. the rugs were a bit dingy but overall it was amazing. the staff could not be more helpful or pleasant. "The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak."

"I only spent one night here but I thought the the hotel was very good. The room was spacious and very comfortable, couldn’t get the TV to work but that could be me. The evening meal was good and served well. One note to let it down, the surly staff member at breakfast is no help to your business."

"We had a lovely weekend, the rooms were clean and comfy the rest of the hotel was dated but clean and is undergoing a referb, the food was very nice we paid for B&B but had our evening meals there as well no complaints everything we had was really lovely. The staff were great very friendly and helpful even through the hotel was really busy being a disabled guest I couldn't fault the staff and the accessibility was excellent"
