"Beautiful facility - we stayed in the lodge which some spots needed repair work. Not walkable or really close to town or train - need a car, as local taxis took a while to come. No shuttle available. Restaurant is excellent, breakfast was good. We are going back - will have a car next time. "

"Stayed in the hotel before and had enjoyed that stay. So felt it was best to book there again. This time the room I was allocated had a shower over a bath but having a disability made it impossible to use. The bathroom floor creaked quite badly every time anyone were to walk over it. "VERY large room! We had room 15 with a balcony and 2 twin beds. The bathroom was big, has heated floors and a heated towel rack, and good water pressure in the shower. In the closet, there was also spare bedding and a disabled seat for the shower. The beds weren't my favorite, but they did the job. Nice cookies with the coffee pot. It feels like a little apartment. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there, and the haggis was tasty - very meaty, light on the oats....

"First time booking holiday inn on hotels.com rather than holiday inn app, I thought our room was not as nice as my precious stay's. Also the room was missing the tv remote but I did not tell reception until morning when checking out as we arrived so late at night. The staff did apologise and are all friendly. "
