"Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (5 and under). The room was spacious and clean. Parking was convenient. Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine. "

"Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. When we arrived, the window in our room was open and the room was completely cold. We had to figure out how to program the electric heating system ourselves before going to dinner. After spending about two hours in the restaurant (the food was good), we returned to find the room temperature still around 10°C. I went to reception and asked for another room that would be properly heated. However, the manager did not believe me...

"Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom.
