"Excellent in every category. No issues or problems. Just what a vacation is supposed to be like."

"Location is great. It is walking distance to everything you would want to see. We were not informed which day we would have a room cleaning, or even if we would. Some communication would have been appreciated as they removed items that they assumed were garbage but we had wanted to keep. Scotland meals are expensive everywhere, but with us staying for 8 days, we felt the cost for breakfast was a wee bit high for the breakfast they served. "This "comfortable cottage" is actually a row house with minimal amenities. It was very clean, although having an extra mattress leaning against the wall in the smallest bedroom made at least that room feel cluttered and cramped. The comfort factor was also decreased by the lack of any trash cans on the second floor, including in the bathroom.
