"Very good value and very close to shopping and tons of restaurants. It’s a short .5 mile walk to the Royal Mile and Holyrood. The Castle is less than a mile and is all easily walkable. (Weather dependent haha) the staff is always available. We would absolutely stay here again. The rooftop terrace is very cool too. They provide salt and pepper but you’ll need your own oils and other cooking items. (They provide dishes, pans and silverware. There is a dishwasher in unit but it’s a free shared...

"Lodges are lovely and very comfortable. The swimming pool and changing rooms need attention. We stayed in February 2025 and 1 of the 2 showers in the women’s changing room was out of order. We have just stayed there again and it’s still out of order. The working shower is clearly getting overused so the drain blocks quickly and you end up standing in a big puddle of water as it won’t drain. Not the cleanest shower, grout etc either "
