"We had stayed in Jersey previously and were severely let down by the standard of accommodation so we decided to choose something more luxurious and the Grand Jersey Hotel did not disappoint. We were made welcome the instant we stepped through the door and that continued throughout our week stay, we should have booked longer! The staff were first class, attentive throughout the hotel and we couldn't fault the superb service. The price of food and drinks were what we expected for a 5 star hotel...

"I was booked in for three nights. The hotel reception was clean and attractive and the greeting from reception ok. The room was good but not great, a little dated particularly the wooden area in the small shower room. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything needed. The window looked out to other rooms so not idea and i kept the curtains closed as it was a gloomy outlook. The evening meals were excellent but the breakfast not quite so good. A couple of small things brought it down....

"Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast bar was plentiful and food good. Bar food was also very good. Hotel is wheelchair-friendly with entrance ramp as well as inside ramps and accessible lavatories. Property is only 6 minutes from the port by taxi. Good experience overall!"

"Great place with excellent service and perfectly located. Know that it is old - creaky floors but very well refurbished. EG Excellent bathrooms A bit noisy due to the room location - was hoping for better location as I had booked early but I get the feeling many others had been coming for years and as a newbie. Note that Jersey is not inexpensive."

"The staff were all very polite and the food was excellent. Breakfast super every day and had a dinner one evening, which again was excellent. We also spoke to several local people whilst out and about and they too spoke highly of the hotel. Would certainly stay again. "

"Excellent sea view from the balcony. The room is spacious and clean. The floor of the hotel room seems to be made of wood. When you walk in the room, you will feel the floor vibrating, and even the furniture in the room will vibrate as well."

"The staff were so friendly and helpful. A special thankyou to Rose who kindly upgraded my room and made sure i was comfortable and settled in. All the staff made me feel so welcome.
