Lovely old hotel. Great position overlooking the sea and seawater lido. Bus stop very close - Jersey bus service is great The hotel has been renovated to a high standard. Our room (basic level) was a bit quirky, but enough space and storage for a week The restaurant is excellent and in fact we dined in every evening apart from one, when we went to a nearby Greek restaurant which again was excellent Breakfast was very good Staff very efficient and had time to be friendly - thank you to the management We were very happy with our choice of accommodation

The hotel was is a lovely location opposite Havres des Pas beach and Lido. There are some fantastic restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious and clean with handy tea/coffee making facilities and a lovely en-suite bathroom. There was a good self-service breakfast of good quality and choice. We also had dinner in the hotel’s coast restaurant a couple of times which was very good. The hotel is close to bus stops and it is a pleasant walk into central St Helier from there. The hotel staff were nice and helpful. I’d highly recommend the Omaroo as a great place to stay in Jersey.

Fantastic location opposite the beach and lido with regular bus service. Had a spacious room with balcony and sea view. Buffet breakfast - good quality and freshly cooked. Ate in the restaurant a few times in the evening. Food and service were first rate. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Its position and outlook, directly out to the sea, was excellent as was the attention of the staff. My single room was a little bit small, but adequate for my needs, however, the lack of a bedside table was inconvenient, there was too few coat hangers in the small wardrobe and there was no heating in the ensuite bathroom, because the towel rack only operated when the heating was on, not ideal. But, the manager did arrange a for a separate heater to be left in my room which was fine. I feel the meals could have been a bit more adventurous, especially for vegetarians. Overall, its a very pleasant hotel, with very good attentive staff and I would use it again ..

We had a really lovely family stay at the Ommaroo and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a really good choice each morning, and the swimming pool was a brilliant bonus – the children particularly enjoyed it and we ended up using it several times during our stay. The location at Havre des Pas is fantastic, right by the beach and really convenient for getting into St Helier or catching buses to explore the rest of Jersey. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. If I were to suggest one small addition, a fridge in the room would have been handy, particularly when staying as a family, but that's a very minor point. Overall we had a great stay, felt very comfortable there and would happily return to the Ommaroo on another trip to Jersey.

We were very happy with the seafront location, proximity to the beach and the Lido. We had a number of meals at the hotel, and we were very satisfied with the quality and service. The room was spacious and clean, the room was very warm through the most recent heat wave yet manageable with a fan. Transportation access to downtown and other attractions was very convenient on the number one bus with both pick up and drop off at the door. We would stay here again and recommended it to others fully.

I had a very spacious and clean room with a large bathroom and shower. It was a cold weekend and I was able to turn the radiator on which heated up the room quickly. There is a healthy breakfast with unlimited fruit, hot offerings and tea, coffee, juice, pastries. The hotel is on the sea- front and is a 10 minute walk from the centre of St Helier and is on bus- routes. The staff are very professional and polite. I’d stay here again and will recommend it to my friends.
